One big city I would really like to visit is Tokyo, the capital of Japan. I’ve watched many documentaries and travel vlogs about it, and every time I see the city, I feel fascinated by its unique combination of high-tech innovation and deep cultural traditions. It’s a place that seems to offer both futuristic experiences and a glimpse of history at the same time.
If I had the chance, I would definitely travel there by plane, because it is quite far from my country. The idea of taking a long international flight is exciting in itself since I’ve only traveled locally so far. I imagine the moment of landing in Tokyo, seeing the skyline from above, would already feel like the beginning of an adventure.
Once I arrive, I will have a long list of things to do. First, I would love to explore Shibuya Crossing, which is often called the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world. I’ve seen so many pictures of hundreds of people walking in all directions at once, and it seems like an unforgettable experience. I would also like to visit Akihabara, the famous electronics and anime district, because I’m curious about Japanese pop culture. Another activity on my list would be tasting authentic Japanese food, especially sushi, ramen, and street food from small local stalls. Apart from that, I would also take time to visit traditional temples and gardens, such as Senso-ji Temple, to experience the peaceful side of the city.
The main reason I want to visit Tokyo is that it represents a lifestyle that is so different from what I’m used to. On the one hand, it’s a global hub of technology and modern life, but on the other hand, people there still value traditions and cultural practices. Moreover, I’ve heard that the people are polite, the public transport system is highly efficient, and the city feels very safe, which would make the trip comfortable.
Overall, visiting Tokyo would not just be a holiday for me, but also a cultural experience. I believe it would broaden my perspective, allow me to try new things, and create memories that I would never forget.
