In my country, cricketers and actors tend to be the most famous, since sports and entertainment attract a huge audience. Recently, social media influencers have also gained a lot of popularity because young people spend so much time online and follow their lifestyle closely.
2. Why are there so many stories about famous people in the news?
I think it’s mainly because the media knows these stories sell well. People are curious about celebrities’ private lives, so newspapers and TV channels use such content to attract more viewers. Another reason is that famous people often set trends, so their activities are considered “newsworthy.”
3. Do you agree or disagree that many young people today want to be famous?
Yes, I agree. Social media has made fame seem more accessible than before. For example, a teenager can post videos online and become popular overnight. However, I think some young people don’t realize the pressure and criticism that come with being in the public eye.
4. Do you think it is easy for famous people to earn a lot of money?
In general, yes, because fame brings opportunities such as sponsorships, advertisements, and brand collaborations. However, it also depends on how they manage their career. Some celebrities become wealthy very quickly, while others struggle to stay relevant and may lose money if they are not careful.
