One piece of work that I felt genuinely proud of was a research-based article I wrote during my university studies. At first, the topic felt a bit overwhelming because there was so much information available, but I wanted to challenge myself and pick something meaningful.
I did this piece of work because our professor encouraged us to select a current global issue and analyze it from different angles—scientific, social, and economic. I’ve always been interested in environmental protection, so I thought this would be a great chance to explore the topic in depth.
To complete the project, I received help from a few sources. My professor guided me on how to narrow down my ideas and focus on the most relevant points. I also spent hours in the university library, where the librarian helped me find reliable journals and research papers. And, honestly, my friends supported me too by proofreading my drafts and giving suggestions on how to make the writing clearer and more organized.
I felt extremely satisfied with the final result for several reasons. First, I managed to explain a complicated issue in a simple and engaging way, which was something I had struggled with before. Second, the professor gave me very positive feedback and even used my paper as a sample for future students, which really boosted my confidence. And finally, working on this project made me feel that I had actually contributed to raising awareness about an important problem. It was one of those moments when I felt that my hard work truly paid off.
