In today’s world, people have too much knowledge about which services should be paid and which should not. As some folks believed that in high school programmes, such as working for a charity and other unpaid services should be compulsory. There are numerous number of reasons to agree or disagree with this point of view that I am going to discuss below.

Firstly, I agree with this as I think that if these services will be compulsory then every student have the chance to access this and can learn and gain their knowledge by volunteering in these areas which will help them in future to apply for the jobs. For instance, there is one food bank organization in Surrey which is Guru Nanak Food Bank where any student, from any religion or culture can volunteer. They usually distribute free basic grocery to students who are unable to afford. By working in these kind of services they have a chance to grow their skills. Other, if schools are going to offer these services on a daily basis and to everyone then every person can participate in that because there are some students who do not like to do work without getting encouragement. Like, if they are going to work in these kinds of service and will get encouragement and rewards for doing that will going to help them to make their interest in this.

Moreover, if these services will become a important part of high schools then maybe students are not going to pay much attention towards it as they may need to perform these activities on daily basis. For example, they may start feeling these activities boring and out of interest because they will going to perform these repeatedly.

Overall, I agree with the statement much more than disagree with it. As these activities help to develop knowledge and skills.

Some people argue that high school students should be required to take part in unpaid community service as part of their education. I strongly agree with this view because such activities help students acquire essential life skills and encourage them to become responsible members of society.

One major benefit of compulsory community service is that it enables students to build crucial interpersonal abilities. By participating in activities such as assisting charities or tutoring younger children, students can improve their communication, teamwork, and leadership capabilities. These attributes are exceptionally useful for their future academic and professional endeavors. For example, a student who coaches football for younger children can learn how to communicate clearly, manage a group, and assume responsibility for others.

Another significant advantage is that community service fosters social responsibility among young people. By assisting others and taking part in projects that improve their neighborhoods, students come to understand the value of cooperation and civic engagement. Resultantly, this exposure makes young people more aware of societal challenges and more willing to contribute to their communities. For instance, during my university years, I participated in a volunteer program where I assisted elderly citizens with physical activities. This experience demonstrated the importance of supporting vulnerable populations and made me more attuned to their needs.

However, some argue that schools should not make community service mandatory, allowing students the autonomy to opt out if they prefer. However, I maintain that incorporating a few hours of volunteer work into the weekly school schedule is far more advantageous,

In conclusion, I firmly believe that unpaid community service should be a mandatory part of high school education. Ultimately, it equips students with practical life skills while shaping them into more conscientious members of society.
