I have been to a lot of different parks in my city. Today I would like to talk about one of them that is very famous among people of all ages. The name of the park is Burlington City Park.
So this park is located in the center of the city near to the downtown but not exactly inside the downtown. It’s on the northeast side of the downtown and sorrounded by shops of every kind. It’s about 10 minutes walk from my home. To improve the access to the park, the local government has maintained the road infrastructure in a very good condition.
The park is quite big. It’s built on 10 hectares of land that makes it the biggest park in the whole city and some people say even in the country. The land was basically a forest areas and had several trees inside. Therefore, the government built the park inside. Also, the huge size of the park allows thousands of visitors to enjoy their visit without feeling congested.
Now during my visit, I spent time in multiple sections of the park. Firstly, I went to the zoo inside the park, where we can see loins, alligators, zebras and even girraffe. In fact, I would not call it a zoo; it’s kind of safari park. I took the jeep ride and saw different kinds of animals in their natural habitat, which was an amazing experience. Then, I visited the historical musuem built on the northeast side of the park. The musuem basically gives us the information about the history of the park and the city as well, mainly covering the cultural aspect of the city. At the end of my visit, I went to the refershment area and enjoyed some drinks and eat fast food as well, especially the pizza, which was very delicious.
I think the main reason the park is very interesting is because its gives a chance to learn about the history. Other people mainly visit the park to enjoy watching the animals; however, I don’t consider that to be important.
