My neighbourhood was located in the south of the city. It’s an area of the city that was a bit remote due to a lack of facilities, and people don’t visit it very often. Basically, my neighbourhood is mostly covered with forest, and the environment is a bit harsh, so people don’t visit it.
Mostly, in my neighbourhood only poor people live, as there is a lack of infrastructure, so the cost of living is quite low here. Even though they are not rich, they are very friendly and cooperative. If they find out that someone nearby needs help, they will not hesitate even for a moment. Personally, I also find them to have a very good nature.
Living in my neighbourhood is quite difficult. As I mentioned earlier, the environment is a bit harsh due to being surrounded by forest, so people have to face tough conditions while living here. Then, moving from one part of the neighbourhood to another is nearly impossible, especially in rainy weather, as there are no proper roads. People spend their nights outside of their homes, as there is no electricity at night; they sleep inside mosquito nets.
I do not think I would like to continue living here. My parents have been living here for the last 25 years, but when I see the kind of facilities the city people have, I kind of curse myself. Therefore, I am trying my best to find an apartment in the capital of my city and move there with my parents, so I can have a bright future.
