Band Score: 8 Bands
1. How well do you know the capital city of your country?
The capital of my country is Beijing, and I have a lot of information about it. Historically, it was declared the capital of my country in 1949. I’ve been there plenty of times alone and with friends, so I know the place inside out. It has beautiful parks, skyscrapers, and all the different kinds of facilities a city should have.
2. Do you think cities are exciting places to live?
Personally, cities are quite exciting places to live. For a young person like me, who would like to have all the different kinds of facilities, such as sports, good schools, and other places where we can do different activities, I would definitely prefer living in a city. Therefore, it totally depends on the individual on what kind of environment they would like to live in, for some cities could be a good place to live, and for others may not be.
3. Why do some people dislike living in a city?
I would say that the main reason they do not like to reside in cities is because of all that noise pollution. Noise coming from different vehicles and never-ending construction projects is the main reason people dislike living in a city. They kind of find it really distracting and prefer living in the countryside, where they can find a calm and noise-free environment.
4. If you could visit any city in the world, where would you go?
The city at the top of my bucket list right now is Tashkent. I have heard a lot about it, especially the unique cultural experience a person can get while visiting this city. Furthermore, the city is really well developed and has a lot of historical and religious buildings that I would like to see. I have been planning for a long time, so hopefully, one day I will be able to visit it.
