I always try to avoid living in hotels whenever I am travelling for vacations. However, last summer, when I had to travel to Delhi for my office meeting, I decided to stay in the hotel.
I stayed in the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi. It is a huge hotel located in the northwest part of Delhi near the train station. It is very famous, and many foreigners also love to stay here when exploring Delhi.
From the outside, the hotel looks huge and splendid. It has 8 floors with different facilities on each floor. There is also a beautiful pond outside the hotel, which is also used as a swimming pool by the visitors. The pond is surrounded by green plants, which enhance its beauty. The grey color of the marble, which is used in the construction of the main building, gives the whole building a really nice look.
If we talk about facilities, then all kinds of facilities are available there. The hotel has a free WiFi coverage in all rooms, which is highly needed by a business professional like me. Then there are conference rooms on the second floor that are mostly used by the companies to organize different meetings. If we talk about food, then there are four bars and restaurants available in this hotel which offer cuisines from different countries. Moreover, the hotel has a golf course if someone is interested in that.
I would definitely recommend my friends and colleagues to stay in this hotel. It has all the facilities a person needs for a comfortable stay. The parking makes it easier for people to bring their personal cars. Finally, I found the staff of the hotel to be very cooperative and welcoming.
