1. When do families celebrate together in your country?
Families celebrate together at different cultural and family events. They get together during cultural and religious festivals like Eid and Spring flower festivals. Then, you would also find families celebrating weddings and birthdays together in my country.
2. How often do all the generations in a family come together in your country?
Almost after two or three months. It is common among the people in my society to invite neighbours, friends, and relatives for a cup of tea, so they can discuss their issues and other things about their life. However, it used to be more frequent than it is now.
3. Why is it that some people might not enjoy attending family occasions?
They are basically introverts. They always try to hide themselves from social gatherings, as they do not have enough confidence to hang out with others. Due to this nature, they do not attend family events as well.
4. Do you think family celebrations are as important as they used to be?
They are very important today and in the past as well. They provide a kind of time during which family members can enjoy with each other and forget about their personal issues for some time. Further, it allows the members to solve any conflicts they have with each other be it a political, financial or a personal grudge of any kind.
