Read the sample IELTS speaking part 1 answer on the topic of the kinds of emails you receive about your work or studies. By reading this sample answer, you can get some ideas about different questions that will help you in the actual exam.
1. What kinds of emails do you receive about your work or studies?
I usually receive emails related to lesson plans, student feedback, and important announcements from the school management. Occasionally, I also get newsletters about new teaching methods or upcoming educational webinars.
2. Do you prefer to email, phone or text your friends?
I prefer texting my friends because it’s quick and convenient. Unlike a phone call, texting doesn’t interrupt their schedule, and it’s easier than writing a formal email.
3. Do you reply to emails and messages as soon as you receive them?
It depends on the type of message. If it’s urgent or work-related, I try to reply immediately. But if it’s a casual message, I might take some time depending on how busy I am.
4. Are you happy to receive emails that are advertising things?
Not really. Most of them feel like spam and clutter my inbox. I only find them useful when they’re offering discounts on something I’ve recently searched for or planned to buy.
