1. Did you like studying science when you were at school?
Absolutely, I did. In fact, it was my favourite subject. The reason I enjoyed studying science at school was that the different concepts being explained in the book seemed to be a complete mystery, which I was eager to learn about. Moreover, the pictures drawn in each chapter was also something that attracted me a lot and made the learning experience more enjoyable.
2. What do you remember about your science teachers at school?
I remember my science teachers very well. They were down-to-earth and explained all the concepts very clearly using real-life examples, which made it easier to learn complex topics. Further, they never reprimanded us if any of the students asked for clarification on the topic multiple times.
3. How interested are you in science now?
Pretty much the same as in my childhood. I still find science to be interesting and learn a science magazine regularly to learn about new discoveries that have been made so far. It helps me to stay updated and use a new scientific tool in daily life to make my tasks easier and time-saving.
4. What do you think has been an important recent scientific development?
From my perspective, the development of AI is the most important scientific discovery made so far. It has multiple benefits. Firstly, it has made it convenient to perform everyday tasks that used to take a lot of time, such as searching for ingredients of a recipe. Lastly, AI also helps us in our homework to some extent though we should not fully rely on it for this purpose.
