Describe something you did that made you feel proud.

  • What it was
  • How you did it
  • What difficulty you had
  • How you dealt with the difficulty
  • And explain why you felt proud of it

One thing I did that made me feel really proud was when I organized a charity event at my university to raise funds for children’s education. It was the first time I had taken responsibility for something so big, and it truly tested my planning and leadership skills.

I started by forming a small team of classmates who were interested in helping out. We brainstormed ideas and eventually decided to host a cultural evening with music, food stalls, and a raffle. I was in charge of getting permissions, arranging sponsors, and managing the budget. It took a lot of coordination and long hours.

One major difficulty we faced was getting enough people to attend the event. At first, ticket sales were really low, and I was worried all our effort would go to waste. I quickly worked with the team to improve our promotion strategy by using social media more effectively and handing out flyers around campus.

In the end, the event was a huge success, and we raised more money than we expected. What made me feel proud was not just the funds we collected, but the fact that we came together as a team and created something meaningful from scratch. It gave me confidence in my abilities and showed me the impact one small initiative can make.
