Some people think that dangerous sports should be banned, while others think people should be free to choose.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some believe that extreme sports should be prohibited due to the risks involved, while others argue that individuals should have the freedom to participate in any activity they choose. In my opinion, while people should be free to pursue their interests, strict safety measures must be enforced to minimize risks.

On one hand, extreme sports can lead to severe injuries or even instant death. Unlike traditional sports, many of these activities lack proper safety regulations. This is because no global organization directly oversees them, resulting in a lack of standardized rules. For example, free diving is an extremely risky sport because it involves diving deep underwater without breathing equipment. If a diver encounters an unknown sea creature or runs out of oxygen, they are in a highly vulnerable situation, which could be fatal.

On the other hand, many argue that people should have the right to choose their activities, as extreme sports provide a thrilling experience and help individuals overcome their fears. Engaging in such sports allows people to push their limits, develop mental resilience, and gain confidence in facing challenges. For instance, last year, I participated in a skydiving competition, which helped me overcome my fear of heights. Since then, I have tackled difficult situations in daily life with greater confidence and a positive mindset.

In my opinion, rather than banning dangerous sports, authorities should focus on increasing awareness of the risks involved and enforcing strict safety guidelines. This way, individuals can enjoy these activities without unnecessarily risking their lives.

In conclusion, while extreme sports come with inherent dangers, they should not be banned. Instead, ensuring proper safety precautions should be the top priority, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy their passion responsibly.
