Some people think that teenage years are the happiest times of most people’s lives. Others think that adult life brings more happiness, in spite of greater responsibilities.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Many people feel that most people are happier at a young age, while others claim that adulthood, despite its heavier responsibilities, brings more joy. In my opinion, the life of teens is much better, as they enjoy life without worrying about finances.
Those who advocate for the teenage years often say that because teenagers have fewer financial responsibilities. This is mainly due to their parents taking care of their needs. Kids in teenage life enjoy their life to the fullest, as they do not have to do any kind of job to earn money. Instead, they go on vacations, hang out with friends, and explore the world. For example, I remember that, as a teenager, I used the money my family gave me to spend yearly summers in the northern regions of my country enjoying myself and my friends by engaging in a variety of activities.
However, proponents of adulthood bring happiness despite huge responsibilities believe old age people have ample time and money they pursue any ambition that they desire. They spend their savings on their grandchildren, such as purchasing toys for them, going on family trips, or founding their own business, which gives them happiness. Even though they have many responsibilities: guiding young people and setting an example of good character for others, they become successful entrepreneurs with their partner’s support. For instance, in the United States, most of elderly people open up small businesses by using their savings along with sharing personal experiences with young people.
From my perspective, the teenage years are the happiest time of our lives. Adolescents have enough free time, and zero financial obligations give them a sense of fulfillment. While old people cannot do much in their adult age because of rising health issues.
In conclusion, we can easily say that teenagers have happier times because they have fewer worries. They have someone else to take care of their requirements. Although adults do enjoy life, they have a lot of limitations.
