On a recent holiday, you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost. Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company.
In your letter
- Describe the item you lost
- Explain how you lost it
- Tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Band 6 Response:
Dear sir/madam,
Purpose- Regarding an item I lost on my recent trip.
I am writing you about my valuable watch that I lost on my trip. It was gold watch that I just bought a few weeks ago. it has small studs on it. It is a chain watch.
I was wearing it on my trip. I was wearing it when I went for paragliding with my friends on one the trip locations. I think that is when I lost it. It is a really precious watch for me.
I have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost on the trip. I want to ask about how can I use this insurance policy in order to get the cost of my watch covered. It would be really helpful if you can give me some details about how can I claim my watch insurance.
I will be waiting to hear from you.
Yours Faithfully,
XYZ
