The table below shows the number of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The table compares the number of tourists who visited Ashdown museum before and after the renovation, and the pie charts demonstrate the visitors’ level of satisfaction in this specified period.
Overall, it can be seen that the influx of tourists increased after the renovation. In addition to this, the level of highly satisfied visitors rose after the refurbishment of the museum.
The volume of tourists in the year before refurbishment was 74,000, which grew up to 92,000 visitors after the renovation.
As far level of satisfaction is concerned, the pie chart showed that number of people who are very satisfied rose more than half, from 15% to 35 %. Moreover, the proportion of dissatisfaction showed a drastic decline from 40% to 15% after renovation. A slight increase was seen in number of the people who are satisfied after amendments from 30% to 40%. However, no significant changes were shown in proportion of individuals who showed no response, while those who were very dissatisfied dropped from 10% to 5%.
