I have done various jobs in the past and completed different tasks as well that were assigned to me. One piece of work that I felt satisfied with was the completion of a market research task given to me by my company. In this project, I had to get insights from different areas of my city about customer preferences when it comes to the consumption of sugar drinks. The company wanted me to find out whether the consumers prefer a bright color label or a darker one.
I undertook this task because it was directly linked with my promotion to a managerial-level position in the company. I was told by my senior colleague that the company usually gives these projects to the juniors when the promotion period comes. If the assignee finishes the job with hard work and provides accurate data, they are bound to be promoted.
As this project was related to my career only, I completed the project by myself. I could not take the help of anyone else to help me with the on-field work, though I could take help from my senior for the presentation of the project to the boss, which I did.
The reason why I felt satisfied with the work was that I was the only one in the company who gave 100% accurate data with proof, and it led to a promotion as well. I felt satisfied with my performance in this task, as no one else in the company did the job with such perfection.
