Read the sample IELTS speaking part 3 answer on the topic of things that make an office comfortable. By reading this sample answer, you can get some ideas about different questions that will help you in the actual exam.
1. What things make an office comfortable to work in?
A comfortable office usually has good lighting, proper ventilation, and ergonomic furniture. These things reduce physical strain and make long working hours easier to manage. Additionally, a friendly and supportive environment can make the workplace much more enjoyable.
2. Why do some people prefer to work outdoors?
Some people enjoy working outdoors because it gives them a sense of freedom and connection with nature. It’s often less stressful than being stuck in a cubicle all day. For jobs like farming or construction, being outside is also a part of the work routine.
3. Do you agree that the building people work in is more important than the colleagues they work with?
I don’t really agree. While a modern and well-equipped building can improve comfort, the people we work with have a bigger impact on our motivation and productivity. Positive relationships and teamwork often matter more than physical surroundings.
4. What would life be like if people didn’t have to work?
Life might seem fun at first, but over time, it could become boring and unfulfilling. Work gives people a sense of purpose and structure. Without it, many might struggle to stay productive or find meaning in their daily lives.
5. Are all jobs of equal importance?
I believe every job has its own value, but not all are treated equally by society. For example, doctors and teachers play vital roles, but cleaners and delivery workers also keep the system running. Every job contributes in some way.
6. Why do some people become workaholics?
Some people become workaholics because they feel a strong drive to succeed or are under pressure to meet deadlines. Others may use work as a distraction from personal issues. In some cases, workplace culture encourages long hours and overworking.
