1. Why do some parents give their children money to spend each week?
Every parent provides pocket money to their kids in a small amount, so they can buy anything they want to eat at school. Moreover, it helps them to be financially literate. This helps to be aware of how to manage finances when they grow up.
2. Do you agree that schools should teach children how to manage money?
It must be made mandatory to learn about financial management at the school level. Currently, we can see that kids are wasting money on buying useless gadgets just to follow a social media trend. This is because kids do not know where and why they should spend. However, we can avoid this situation by educating them about finances at school level.
3. Do you think it is a good idea for students to earn money while studying?
Definitely it is, and it always has been a good idea in the Western world, where kids do not get enough educational support from their parents. Therefore, they have to work alongside taking classes to pay their tuition fees. In contrast, in my country, Bangladesh, it is considered odd to earn money while you are studying.
4. Do you think richer countries have a responsibility to help poorer countries?
Wealthy countries should support the poor ones. They should help by providing technical expertise in different sectors for economic growth, so they can be self-sustainable. But I oppose the idea of giving them money because most of it goes into corruption.
