Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing to express my interest in the position of live-in childcare assistant that I saw advertised in Australian magazine. I would be delighted to live with your family for six months and take care of your six years old child.
I have always enjoyed spending time with children and I believe this position would be an excellent opportunity for me to gain valuable experience while experiencing Australian family life. I am a patient, responsible and caring person and I understand the importance of creating a safe and positive environment for the young child. I am comfortable preparing simple meals, helping with homework and organizing entertaining activities.
I am also punctual and I would be happy to follow your family’s routines and expectations.
During my free time, I would like to explore Australia and learn about its culture and natural beauty. I would particularly enjoy visiting local attractions, going for walks and meeting new people. But my personal activities do not interfere with childcare responsibilities.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Kiran
